Youth Nights

image7

Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Students in grades 7 through 12 gather on Wednesdays for lessons, prayer, fellowship, and a little bit of chaos.  We like to keep things interesting and allow students to express themselves, no matter where they are in their faith journey.

Students are separated by grade level and spend the year with their peers discussing topics like christian morality, prayer & worship, the life of Jesus, and what it means to be Catholic.

Parental Involvement

There may be a couple of parent nights throughout the year.  With today's culture, it is important to us to walk with parents through the trenches of raising teenagers.  We have offered nights about social media and how to safely use it with your teen, mental health, and suicide prevention.

We also ask for parents and caring adults to volunteer for various nights and activities by helping with games, snacks, teaching, or maybe transportation.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Snacks are very important to the success of Youth Nights.  If you graciously offer to send snacks, please no peanut products.
  • We are very aware that many of our students are new drivers.  We tend to err on the side of caution if there is inclement weather.  If there is a chance for slick roads, heavy fog, or extremely high winds, please stay close to your email or facebook, as those are the forms of communication we will use to inform you of changes.
  • If the surrounding school districts cancel school, or have an unscheduled early out due to weather, Youth Nights are automatically cancelled.
  • We will also keep you informed on cancellations due to State Sporting Tournaments and Playoffs.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
