Confirmation

---

At St. Anns, we typically celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with students in the 11th Grade.  Though any youth ready for Confirmation is welcome to attend.

Confirmandi spend the year exploring their spirituality and committment to the Catholic faith through instruction, service, study of the Saints, personal prayer & reflection, and developing a spiritual relationship with their sponsor.  Much of the discussion is based on a series of questions presented by the cirriculum entitled "Chosen" by Ascension Press.

Confirmandi will be encouraged to develop their sense of their own Catholic identity.  Most of this starts at home, but teens will participate in the Confirmation Retreat in the early Fall where we dig deep into the importance of critical decision making and why that matters to making the choice of accepting the Holy Spirit in your life.
